Modelled on a 17th century pirate ship, Red Dragon Junk is an all-wooden junk which took four years to build. It's all dark wood and brass with decorative flourishes, and it doesn't take a lot of imagination to picture pirates swinging from the sails. There are five rooms on the boat, all with ensuite bathrooms with hot-water showers (and a porthole looking out to sea) and a window onto the ocean from the bedroom. With all this on offer, as well as an extraordinarily exciting cruise itinerary and some of the most beautiful scenery you'll ever see, you may well feel as if the Red Dragon Junk experience is something of a dream.
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Bai Tu Long Bay - Hon Co Island - Thien Canh Son Cave
07h45 – 08h00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus then transfer to Halong. (book transfer in next step)
12h00 – 12h30: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbor. Embark Dragon Pearl Junk. Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing. Then have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.
Afternoon activities: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave. Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island, swimming or kayaking.
Late afternoon, back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
After dinner, spend free time to relax, enjoy fresh air & other evening activities. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Vung Vieng Village - Halong - Hanoi
Wake up to the sound of ocean. Re-energize with a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast is served on board.
After breakfast, visit Vung Vieng Village by a rustic row-boat, meet the local people and pass through the floating school and fish farms.
Back to the junk, check out of the cabin at around 10h00. Start cruising towards the harbor while an 'A la carte' lunch is served.
Arrive at the harbor, disembark. Transfer by bus to Hanoi.
17h00 - 17h30: Arrive in Hanoi. Drop off at hotel. End of tour.

- The rate for children applicable for one child sharing a twin or double cabin with two adults:
- FOC for 1 child under 4 year old sharing bed & meals with parents.
- Child from 4-12 year old sharing room with parent: charge 75%
- Child under 12 year old stay in 1 cabin: 75% adults rate + single surcharge
- For charter cruise: Child from 4 year old count price similar to adult
